Movie Club
7:30 pm Third Wednesday of the monthMovie Club will be an opportunity to share, experience and embrace Queer movies that embrace both LGBTQIA2S+ history and celebration of Queer Visibility in film.

Games Night
7:30 pm First Wednesday of the monthPeople have a choice between playing board/card games or just hanging out and catching up with like-minded people.

Pride 2025
Pride 2025 was a banger with Pride Cabaret on the Friday night and Community Day on the Saturday in partnership with the local shopping centre Jackson Square, which saw over 2000 people engage with us and our partners, enjoying music and shopping with local independent businesses.

New Year Walks
New Year’s Day River Walk from Pigs Lane, Bishop’s Stortford, to the Town, where we stopped for a coffee.

Local Carnivals
Every year, we join in with the local carnival to connect with the local community, increase visibility of the LGBTQIA2S+ community and embrace who we are whilst having fun and celebrating authenticity.

Halloween Adventures
Spooky tales and Night Fright Walks, our Halloween events have always been a hit. Muddy adventures, hot chocolates and roasting marshmallows whilst also picking the best pumpkins we can find.

Pride 2024
Pride 2024 saw record-breaking numbers with 130 plus people in the solidarity walk, and over 400 people attended Family Pride. We had wellbeing workshops, community stalls, entertainment, food and drinks from 10 am to 5 pm. Our Trans Memorial
Our Trans memorial started in 2023, post Brianna Ghey’s death, because of a hate crime. We also held a memorial in Bishop’s Stortford, where we publicly stood up against these hate crimes and took a moment to remember Brianna Ghey and all other Transgender and Indigenous individuals who have lost their lives.

Pride 2023
Pride 2023 saw the biggest run out so far, with over 100 people attending the solidarity walk and 350 people attending our family pride day at South Mill Arts centre. We had a full night with Drag king performance from Adam All and a family pride day full of fun activities, music and food.

Indie Community Champion Awards 2022
In 2022, Stort Pride was nominated for an Indie Community Champion Award in celebration of the visibility and awareness of LGBTQIA2S+ communities that Chelle Peppiatt (Founder) had created, alongside increasing allyship with local venues and developing safer places for LGBTQIA2S+ people.

Pride 2022
The first Pride in Bishop’s Stortford took place in the summer of 2021 and was run by South Mill Arts Centre. In 2022, Stort Pride adopted annual Pride events as their major project.
